Why Become a Member of the RTA?

Memberships with the RTA are critical and directly support trail maintenance, events, insurance for landowners, the trail coordinator position, and other essential services.

Are there Membership Benefits?

RTA Newsletters / Email Updates on Events and Trail Conditions / A Vote at the Annual Meeting / Special Discounts Days with Local Businesses / Special Deals on Memberships and Maps / Business Memberships include a “Business Sponsor” listing in RTA newsletters, event displays, and on our website. (Remember to send us your logo for kiosk displays and our website!)

When Should I Become a Member of the RTA?

Memberships are welcome at any time of the year and always include an invitation to the next RTA Annual Meeting in April. To maximize membership benefits people are encouraged to become members in spring for the upcoming year.

What is the Difference Between a Membership and Making a Donation?

Many of our supporters respond to our requests for donations at other times of year, particularly the our Year-End Appeal, and this support is crucial to our programs. We extend membership benefits to those who specifically become members typically at our Annual Meeting (held in March or April) and through our annual membership drive in May. In addition, all landowners who have signed agreements for trail sections that are currently in use are automatically made members, with our grateful thanks.

The Rivendell Trails Association would like to thank all of its members for their generous support through the years. Our membership has grown to more than 175 individuals and families in addition to more than 60 landowners who share their land. Landowners who have signed permission agreements with the RTA are automatically members free of charge, though additional donations are gratefully accepted.

Our Sponsors

The Cross Rivendell Trail would not be possible without the support of our individual and family members and local businesses. Support includes memberships, financial sponsorship, and other donations -- such as items for our annual auction, food for the Rivendell Ramble lunch, supplies, and time from employee volunteer programs. Thank you one and all for your support!
