| Join the RTA and local volunteers on the Cross Rivendell Trail (CRT) for trail work on Saturday morning to celebrate National Trails Day
Events are organized for each town along the CRT including Vershire, West Fairlee, Fairlee, and Orford
Come help and we will provide lunch

WHERE Sections of the 36-mile Cross Rivendell Trail (CRT) in each town along the CRT (and Rivendell Inerstate School District) including Vershire, West Fairlee, Fairlee, and Orford.
TIME Meet at 9:00am at the following locations in each town:
VERSHIRE Meet at Vershire Town Center at 9am to carpool to the trail off of Vershire Center Rd.
WEST FAIRLEE Meet at the Lake Fairlee boat launch on Route 244 at 9am for trail work off of Middlebrook Rd.
FAIRLEE Meet at the Lake Morey boat launch on Lake Morey Rd at 9am for trail work up the trail to Bald Top Mountain.
ORFORD Meet
at the parking area and information kiosk on Dame Hill Rd just off of
Route 25A at 9am for trail work on Sunday Mountain (East).
LUNCH The RTA, with the help of volunteers, will serve lunch in two town locations:
For Vershire & West Fairlee volunteers 1:30pm at the Vershire Town Center for PIZZA from the town pizza oven ...
For Fairlee & Orford volunteers 1:00pm at the Fairlee Town
Green gazebo on Main St (Route 5) for a BBQ ...
TRAIL WORK Standard maintenance including brushing, cleaning of drainage ditches, re-blazing, etc. Families & students of all ages welcome ~ work opportunities are always based on ability and comfort levels.
WHAT TO BRING Appropriate
work clothing (watch the weather), gloves, water bottle, hand-tools you
are comfortable with for trail maintenance (hand saw, clippers,
etc).
